In Illinois, it seems like nothing ever changes.  We have all heard of ACORN's recent problems but in Illinois, you could just call it SEIU's problems. For years, millions of taxpayer dollars have been used to fund ACORN and its affiliates, like SEIU. In return, SEIU has put some of this money back into the wallets of our state’s leaders- like over $800,000 to disgraced former Governor Rod Blagojevich and $45,000 to current Governor Pat Quinn.  Governor Pat Quinn has even been endorsed by SEIU and the Governor has returned the favor by helping SEIU organize. It's time to end these pay for play tactics that continue to fuel corruption in Illinois.

Dear Governor Quinn,

It’s time for the cycle of corruption in Illinois state government to end.  Over the past few years, ACORN affiliates like SEIU have contributed over $45,000 to your campaign and over $800,000 to your corrupt predecessor Rod Blagojevich.  It’s time to show a real effort to stop corruption.  I urge you to cut ties with ACORN and SEIU by calling for a real investigation into ACORN, its affiliates and its gross abuse of taxpayer dollars.
